SUMMER MIX
This summer, we are going to have informal pickup games on Sunday (8-9:30 am). Please email [email protected] if you want to be on the notification list. This is not a formal MDWSC activity, so you are playing at your own risk.
Location:
Sunday: Addenbrooke (601 S. Garrison) - fields to the north of the parking lot
Time: 8-9:30 am; please arrive on time, ready to play, so we can get in at least 1 hour 15 minutes of play. If the game has already started, please wait until a water break to join in.
Format: We will break into teams and set up fields to match the # of players on each team. Depending on the number of players, we may break into two groups, either by skill and level of competition or just into 4 teams. For starters, we aren't going to worry about having goals, but might, as the summer goes on, decide that would make the games more fun. If you have a set of goals (not the pup type, but larger ones), please let us know and we can try it out. No refs. Ideally, folks won't wear shin guards (we get that some of you will) as a way to lower the tenor of the game.
Colors: Bring a light and a dark shirt
Equipment: Bring a ball if you have one; there will be cones, etc. to mark off the fields.
Registration / Cost: Free (as noted above). We are posting this as a courtesy. It is an informal pickup, so anyone is welcome to come play.
